Last night's season finale of Lost was pretty much incredible. If you haven't already gotten onto the Lost bandwagon, its not too late! I just started watching it in January, and got caught up on past seasons by watching ABC's episode player. You have 8 months until season 5 starts. I also highly recommend Lostpedia for sorting out some of the confusing parts. It is honestly the best made television show I've ever seen.

But one of the most interesting things that Lost does is that they leave clues to real world tie-ins. Last night, right before the end of the show, there was a 15 second commercial trying to recruit volunteers for "Octagon Global Recruiting". If you go to the Octagon website, you learn that Octagon is recruiting on behalf of the DHARMA Initiative from July 24-27 in San Diego. There is a lot of talk that those dates correspond with Comic Con and that some kind of ARG is going to take place. I am impressed that they manage to generate buzz even during the off season. I just hope there is some way that fans who can't attend Comic Con can play along...

Now, 2 weeks later, Latarian is back in the news for assaulting his grandmother in a Walmart because she told him not to order chicken wings.


This kid has apparently been allowed to run rampant up until this point. I cannot believe his attitude at the ripe age of 7. Hopefully someone can get him some help, but I wish the Cincinnati news was half as awesome as WPBF in Florida... brilliant editing.

PS- is that a to-go box in the plastic bag he is walking away with in the second video?! chicken wings, perhaps?
